It's Spooky SZN!

We love trying new things around here-- especially during this time of the year in the spirit of Halloween. October/Halloween is also one of EDscapade's busiest times. We typically have back-to-back reservations and fully booked weekends. My best guess is that we have thriller and horror-themed escape rooms, which attract those in the mood for dangerous and daring experiences.

Last year, we amped up our Hostage experience to make it more intense and real. This year, instead of changing the experiences, we decided to promote our rooms with a Halloween Scavenger Hunt and a raffle-like activity allowing people to participate in our social media posts as well as finding hidden treasures spread around the city's most iconic destinations.

On a slightly different note, Halloween used to be one of my favorite holidays. As a kid, aside from getting to dress up, it's the one night my parents would allow me to roam around the different neighborhoods, knock on strangers' doors, and accept mysterious treats that come in different sizes and shapes. I realize that sounds a lot more terrifying now than when I was a kid.

As an adult, not only did I lose interest in candy, but I'd prefer staying indoors for some classic scary movies like The Conjuring and Insidious franchises. Nonetheless, I hope everyone can enjoy some fun festivities this Halloween. Whether you're out trick-or-treating or having a house party, or even just enjoying quiet me-time like myself, please stay safe!

Just remember... the safest place to hide from the dead in the house is the living room (pun intended).
