Chapter 4: The Courtyard

Story

After escaping The Study, and running downstairs, you find yourself in the mudroom of the Tandy home. One more door stands between you and your freedom, right? Wrong. Once outside, you find yourself in Edward's cold and dark courtyard surrounded by a 14-foot tall wooden fence. Edward's daughter Lilly once resided in the trailer in the Courtyard, but she's long gone. Painfully, she was forced to leave someone she loved behind. Will you be able to save Lilly's lover Quinn, or will the officer perish while you try and escape?

Highlights/Your Opinion/Review:

I really enjoy The Basement series. This escape experience has really evolved since my first time here when there were only 2 rooms: The Basement and The Study. Now they have 4 different experiences. My favorite part of their expansion has to be their new addition to their lobby. The experience starts from the moment you arrive at the venue. Instead of waiting outside for your host, you have to find a way in! As for the escape room itself, The Courtyard is equally immersive compared to the previous chapters. You really do feel like you’re in Edward Tandy’s courtyard. However, if I had to rank the 4 experiences, this is my least favorite. It is really a story-driven escape room and it ties the story together nicely. You won’t get the whole Edward Tandy experience without it!
