Beat The Lock Escape Room has two locations which are in San Jose & Santa Clara! Both locations have Secrets in the Attic and Spy Room; they are identically both locations, just varies in capacity.
Story
You are gathered for the reading of Grandma Edna's will and learn she had never written it down! She was paranoid that ill-intended relatives would create a forgery. She left cryptic clues in her attic for you to discover your inheritance. Hurry! Greedy relatives will arrive soon!
Highlights/Your Opinion/Review:
The puzzles within the escape room were well-designed, but there can be red herrings. The set design and props added to the effect that we were in Grandma’s attic. Each group then has to work in separate rooms to try to find their way back to each other and then complete the rest of the puzzles. Unfortunately, I do not remember how Beat The Lock used their hint system for this room. Overall, our Game Master was very friendly. This room is great for beginners, however for a room escape enthusiast, this was on the lacking side.
